Stilllife

This series stages objects as witnesses and remains at the same time.

Amphorae, vases, masks — forms that once held life, belief, and ritual — are brought together across cultures, geographies, and time. They do not coexist peacefully. They confront each other, carrying different logics of use, symbolism, and survival.

The still life becomes unstable ground. What was once functional becomes sacred, what was sacred becomes archaeological, what was buried returns as image. Each object shifts between states — use, ruin, museum, reproduction — never settling into a final identity. Here, the vessel is no longer neutral. It is charged. It holds not only matter, but the pressure of human need to preserve, to transform use into meaning, and meaning into permanence. Objects do not illustrate history. They produce it — through friction, displacement, and persistence
