Vessels and Myths

This series brings vessels from different cultures, places, and time periods into one space. Amphorae, vases, masks and other artefacts are placed together as objects that once had specific functions, beliefs, and contexts.

In this confrontation, they do not form a unified narrative. Instead, they expose differences in use, meaning, and value. Each object carries traces of its origin, but also its later transformations — through excavation, collection, museum display, and reproduction.

The still life becomes a constructed situation where objects are no longer neutral. They stand as evidence of the human need to preserve, to organize belief into form, and to turn use into meaning.

The objects do not simply represent history. They are part of how history is continuously constructed and redefined.
